Wild Yam Cream for Women's Natural Hormone Balance

These are made in small batches of 20 with limited supply. The Story Behind the Cream

My love of herbalism began with my grandmother, who was the local herbalist in our community when I was growing up. I spent my childhood helping her gather local herbs and create handmade herbal and natural beauty preparations using traditional methods.

Today, I carry that hands-on tradition into my own artisan creations, crafting botanical products inspired by nature, family, and the herbal wisdom passed down to me.

This artisanal organic wild yam root cream is smooth to apply. silky in texture and has a long-lasting herbal delivery. We use the highest potency of real wild yam root (not extract), chaste berry, and oils: coconut and castor oil are all active ingredients, containing no fillers. It is made with just clean, pure herbal ingredients. 

Our organic Wild Yam Cream is made using only the highest quality ingredients. We source organic wild yam root and organic chasteberry (vitex) with a USDA organic source. Herbs are then infused into USDA organic castor oil, and coconut oil to ensure maximum potency. Then we gently heat the oil at a low temperature and combine it with organic beeswax, keeping the ingredients simple, clean, and effective. Clean ingredients are my number 1 priority in all the products I create for my customers and my family.

As with all natural products, results may vary from person to person. We suggest using the product for 8+ weeks to see full results and benefits. A natural approach to healing sometimes takes a longer period of consistent use. The 4-ounce container will last at least 8 months when following the suggested use.

Suggested Use:

Apply a pea-sized amount topically on wrists and/or lower abdomen, 1-2 times per day, AM and PM. This product is long-lasting! A little goes a long way! There is never a buildup because this product does not contain hormones, only organic herbs, oils, and pure beeswax.

Storage:

Store in a cool, dark place. If the cream melts into a liquid state, it will resolve and become solid when cooled. It is safe to use after and is not compromised. Discard after 12 months.

The Science:

Wild yam, scientifically known as *Dioscorea villosa*, is a plant native to North America. The plant is particularly valued for its roots, which contain compounds called diosgenin. Diosgenin is a plant-based sterol, a compound that can stimulate the adrenals to work more fluently. Did you know that the adrenals create hormones and are responsible for cortisol and progesterone? The adrenal cortex, a little complex part of the adrenals, can even turn progesterone into estrogen and testosterone! Wild yam (unlike synthetic estrogen, which can come with a host of side effects) contains plant sterols, which are considered to be much safer and gentler, making them an appealing option for those looking for a natural hormone-balancing solution.
